Today, Apple released iOS 15.6 RC and iPadOS 15.6 RC to developers with the aim of testing purposes after a week of releasing beta 5 updates.
The new iOS 15.6 RC and iPadOS 15.6 RC updates come with a new build number 19G69. This is an over-the-air update and is available to download for eligible iPhone and iPad users across the world who installed the developer beta profile on their iPhones and iPads from Apple Developer Center.
In the official release notes, the company only mentions an issue that “the iOS device that initiates pairing needs to be logged in to the same iCloud account as the home hub. Only the owner of a home, not an invited user, can pair Matter accessories.”
Along with iOS 15.6 RC and iPadOS 15.6 RC, Apple also released the release candidate versions of watchOS 8.7, macOS Monterey 12.5, and tvOS 15.6.
Moreover, users who installed the public beta profile to their eligible devices can now access the newest iOS 16 features by downloading the iOS 16 Public Beta 1 that Apple released yesterday.
