Apple released iOS 16.1 Beta 3 – Here’s What’s New?

Today, Apple released iOS 16.1 Beta 3 to developers with the aim of testing purposes a week after releasing the second beta update.

The new iOS 16.1 Beta 3 comes with a new build number 20B5056e. This is an over-the-air update and is available to download for eligible iPhone and iPad users across the world who installed the developer beta profile on their iPhones and iPads from Apple Developer Center.

  • Updated Wallpaper Gallery design alongside new options to customize wallpapers as well as add new ones
  • With iPadOS 16 Beta 3, Stage Manager can now be accessible on 2018 iPad Pro models, which was limited to M1 iPad Air and M1 iPad Pro models.
  • Some of the internal code about the “Emergency SOS via Satellite” service that will be coming to the iPhone 14 lineup starting in November.

However, it is recommended to download on the secondary device as there are some known issues as well which are expected to fix in future updates.

Along with this, Apple also released the third developer beta update for watchOS 9.1 and tvOS 16.1 as well as iPadOS 16 Beta 10 and macOS Ventura Beta 9.
