Apple released iOS 16.2 Beta 1 – Here’s What’s New?

Today, Apple released iOS 16.2 Beta 1 to developers with the aim of testing purposes of the upcoming new changes just a day after releasing iOS 16.1 for everyone.

The new iOS 16.2 Beta 1 comes with a new build number 20C5032e. This is an over-the-air update and is available to download for eligible iPhone and iPad users across the world who installed the developer beta profile on their iPhones and iPads from Apple Developer Center.

  • External display support for iPad equipped with the M1 and M2 chip
  • The new architecture of the Home app

Currently, it is recommended to download on the secondary device as there may have some serious known issues and security vulnerabilities.
