Apple released iOS 16.2 Beta 2 – Here’s What’s New?

Today, Apple released iOS 16.2 Beta 2 to developers with the aim of testing purposes of the upcoming new changes a week after releasing the first beta update.

Update 9/11/22: This update is now also available for the public beta testers as well.

The new iOS 16.2 Beta 2 comes with a new build number 20C5043e. This is an over-the-air update and is available to download for eligible iPhone and iPad users across the world who installed the developer beta profile on their iPhones and iPads from Apple Developer Center.

  • 5G support for Airtel and Jio carrier customers in India
  • Medication widget
  • Resolved a bug that didn’t allow you to exit from the lock screen camera with a swipe

Currently, it is recommended to download on the secondary device as there may have some serious known issues and security vulnerabilities.

Along with this, Apple also released the second developer beta update for iPadOS 16.2, macOS Ventura 13.2, watchOS 9.2, and tvOS 16.2. You can know more about the new beta software update in the company’s official press release.
