Apple released iOS 16 Beta 6 – here’s what’s new?

Today, Apple released iOS 16 Beta 6 and iPadOS 16 Beta 6 to developers with an aim for testing purposes almost a week after releasing the fifth beta update.

The new iOS 16 Beta 6 and iPadOS 16 Beta 6 updates come with a new build number 20A5349b. This is an over-the-air update and is available to download for eligible iPhone and iPad users across the world who installed the developer beta profile on their iPhones and iPads from Apple Developer Center.

iOS 16 Beta 6 – Major new features
  • Battery percentage is now displayed on selected iPhones even when Low Power mode is enabled.
  • iCloud Photo Library now allows to automatically and manually share the photo library as well as right from the camera app.

Currently, it is recommended to download on your secondary device as earlier beta software updates may have some bugs. During the testing of Apple’s all newest software platforms, Apple will release all-new features for iOS 16 and iPadOS 16.

Each beta is coming with a huge number of newly-added features, resolved issues as well as known issues and their workarounds, including for the App Store, Accessibility, AirPlay, App Tracking Transparency, iCloud, Mail, Maps, Home, Messages, Weather and so much more.
