Android 12 for Nokia 5.3 now expands in several countries

Nokia Mobile has started rolling out the new Android operating system update to its low-cost Nokia 5.3 and now expands in a number of countries.

According to a reader reported to Nokiapoweruser, Nokia 5.3 owners in several countries, now including India, Nigeria, Egypt, North America, and the UK, now started getting the primary Android 12 with the September security patch.

It was previously only limited to consumers in Malaysia and should be rolling out to users across even more countries within the next few days or weeks.

The Android 12 for Nokia 5.3 comes in a 1.77GB file size and a new V3.400 build number. You will see a prompt to download the major new update or you can also install this update by going to Settings > System updates > Check for updates.

The primary new Android operating system update brings notable UI design changes as well as new animations and features while the security update contains some major security bug fixes and performance enhancements.

The Finland-based consumer electronics company has recently begun releasing the same update to its Nokia G21 in a few regions.
