Apple released Safari Technology Preview 154 – here’s what’s new?

On September 21, Apple released Safari Technology Preview 154 with multiple bug fixes and performance improvements several days after releasing version 153.

With a new Safari Technology Preview 154, Apple addresses some issues and makes enhancements in Web Inspector, CSS, JavaScript, Rendering, Reporting API, Web API, Accessibility, Media, and Intelligent Tracking Prevention.

If you already have the complete installation of the Safari Technology Preview from the Apple Developer Center, the latest preview update is now available to download from the System Preferences of your eligible Mac running on macOS Monterey or macOS Ventura. It is no longer available for macOS Big Sur.

Apple’s primary reason behind the testing of new features on its browser is to get feedback from developers, for which, you don’t need to download any special developer account to make it accessible.

For those who are unfamiliar, Safari Technology Preview is mainly aimed at more advanced Mac users who want to try out the upcoming web technologies in the Safari browser on macOS by getting the latest layout technologies, visual effects, and developer tools, and more without altering the primary Safari browser.

You can know more about the new changes, features, and bug fixes in the official release notes about Safari Technology Preview 154.
