Samsung Galaxy A22 5G receiving Android 12 update

Samsung Mobile has now started rolling out the Android 12 operating system-based One UI 4.1 update to its budget-centric Samsung Galaxy A22 5G in limited countries.

Samsung’s One UI 4.1 comes with some notable new features, including a revamped UI design with the color palette feature, Google’s Material You design, new lock screen widgets, and bigger controls for brightness and volume.

The primary Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G comes with a firmware version A226BXXU4BVF7 in Malaysia and Thailand, reported by SamMobile.

The new major software update also includes the June security update 2022 that comes with addressing several privacy and security issues as well as includes general bug fixes and performance improvements.

So, if you’re a Samsung Galaxy A22 5G user in the country, you can download the new update by heading over to Settings > Software update > (tap) Download and Install. Users across more countries will receive the new update within the next few days or weeks.

Moreover, the South Korean tech giant has recently begun releasing the same update to its affordable Samsung Galaxy A21s in a few regions.
