5 years old Samsung Galaxy Note 8 receives new firmware update
Today, Samsung Mobile has now started rolling out the new firmware update to its 5-year-old flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in a number of countries.
The important new update comes with “GPS stability improvement,” meaning, it addresses some GPS connectivity-related issues, reported by SamMobile.
The firmware with the new update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is N950FXXUGDVG5 in a large number of European countries.
It is pretty unexpected and also a good step that the company is still taking care of its almost six years old smartphones to maintain better performance.
Alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the South Korean tech giant has also released a similar update to its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S8.
