Carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S22 Series gets August security update 2022 in the US

Samsung Mobile has now started rolling out the August security update 2022 to its flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 Series for the carrier-locked models in the United States.

The August security update 2022 comes with addressing several privacy and security vulnerabilities as well as includes general bug fixes and performance improvements.

The firmware with the newest security patch for the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra is S906USQU2AVG6 for T-Mobile carrier-locked models in the United States, reported on Twitter.

So, if you’re a user of any model of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series in the country, you can download the new update by heading over to Settings > Software update > (tap) Download and Install. Users across more countries will get the security patch within the next few days.

The South Korean tech giant has recently begun releasing the same update to its Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 in a few regions.
