7-year-old Samsung Galaxy S6 Series receiving new update

Today, Samsung Mobile has now started rolling out the new firmware update to its 7-year-old Samsung Galaxy S6 Series in a limited number of countries.

The important new update comes with “GPS stability improvement,” meaning, it addresses some GPS connectivity-related issues, reported by GalaxyClub.nl.

The firmware with the new update for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is G920FXXU6EVG1 and G925FXXU6EVG3 as well as the update is also released for the S6 Edge+ currently in Belgium and the Netherlands.

It is a little unexpected and also a good step that the company is still taking care of its years old smartphones to maintain its better performance.

Alongside Samsung Galaxy S6 Series, the company has recently released the same update to its Galaxy S7, Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8, and Note 9.
